The Challenge
SMI are very proud to play their part in supplying the corporate image of such a blue chip brand. Ocado first approached SMI at the tail end of 2014 with a brief to design, order, manufacture and deliver all of their workwear at Dordon. In February 2015 work began at SMI Headquarters on designing the Ocado range – bringing outstanding brand image to quality products that could withstand a working environment with three different temperature areas.
Our Solution
Bespoke Ocado tee shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces and warehouse chill coats were finalised in July 2015 which meant in November SMI delivered over 14,000 bespoke garments to Ocado’s Dordon fulfillment centre.
Ocado partnered with SMI in 2015 to manufacture, stock and deliver bespoke uniforms for Ocado employees. It was important we selected a supplier that was the right fit for the Ocado business and I’m pleased to confirm that SMI have met our expectations and beyond.
