The JSP R&D team worked with a leading acoustics research facility to develop Sonis® Mounted ear defenders, peaking at an unbeaten 36 SNR. The new electrically insulated side arms enable ‘set and forget’ height adjustment with a rotation feature designed to balance cushion pressure and enhance comfort.

PERFORMANCE
The Sonis® Mounted ear defender range peaks at an unbeaten 36 SNR. Our R&D team fine tune each component, using specialist design and test equipment to refine performance.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL FIT
New side arms enable set and forget height adjustment for the perfect fit. The arms rotate independently 15° in each direction, maintaining a consistent seal around the ear.

ENHANCED COMFORT
Sonis cushions are made with frequency-optimised foam covered in a soft TPU skin. By rotating as the wearer moves, the side arms ensure even cushion pressure to enhance comfort.

ELECTRICALLY INSULATED
Non-conductive design with no exposed metal parts for safety in applications with electrical hazards. The mechanism’s steel spring is fully isolated to reduce conductivity risks.

HYGIENIC
The ear defenders are easy to wipe clean. Hygiene kits are available for each model allowing cushions and foam inserts to be replaced.

CUSTOMISATION
Sonis® cups can be printed with a company logo using the JSP Logo Express® service. MOQs apply.

CERTIFIED COMPATIBLE
Sonis® Mounted ear defenders are tested and certified with JSP helmets and EVOGuard® browguards, ensuring the correct level of hearing protection with each model. The side arms are designed to fit with a range of visor systems for combined protection.

Configure and buy

At SMI we pride ourselves on customer service and, to that end, our returns policy is very simple.

First and foremost, your point of contact for all returns is your regular customer services representative and if for any reason they are unavailable, any member of the Customer Service team would be delighted to assist you.

Defective goods (branded or non-branded) must be reported to your customer service representative within three working days of receipt of delivery for either credit or replacement. All goods remain the property of SMI Group. No claims for damaged/missing goods will be recognised unless made in writing within 3 working days of receipt. Non delivery must be notified in writing within 10 days from receipt of invoice.

Non-branded and non-defective goods may be returned for credit within 30 days of receipt.

We cannot accept the return of any non-defective branded items.

A charge of 10% of the value of the returned goods will be made as a re-handling fee for any returns.

In addition, all returns MUST :

First be agreed with a member of the customer service team.
Be accompanied by the relevant returns paperwork and by your original order number.
Be suitably repackaged to avoid damage in transit (if in doubt, please ask the Customer Service team).
Be marked ‘For Attention Of Goods In Department’ and sent to the address provided.
Be received in resaleable condition if non-defective – ie unworn, clean and with original packaging.

Additional Notes:

Non-delivery must be notified in writing 10 days from receipt of invoice.

SMI can collect any Goods for Return for a universal charge of £9.95 which would be deducted from the senders credit value.
