• How to use body fluid spill kits?

  Body fluid spill kits are made to be easy to use, with instructions for use inside every kit.

  Always read these through before using the products inside the kit.

  To use a body fluid spill kit properly:

  • Put on disposable gloves.
  • Apply the body fluid power to the spill.
  • Wait for the powder to absorb the fluids.
  • Use the dustpan and brush to sweep up.
  • Throw all used equipment away using the hazard bag provided.

• What should be in a body fluid spill kit?

  Body fluid spill kits should contain these items:

  • Hand protection (usually disposable gloves)
  • Absorbent powder made to be used on body fluids
  • Equipment for cleaning up the powder after it’s been applied
  • Hazard disposal bag for safely disposing of all soiled items in the kit
• What PPE should you use with a body fluid spill kit?

  When cleaning up a body fluid spill, we recommend the following PPE:

  • Disposable gloves
  • Disposable apron or coveralls
  • Face protection that prevents splash contact, such as a face shield
