FAQs

  • To remove graffiti, choose the right remover for both the graffiti type and the surface:

    • Our Graffic Natrol graffiti removal spray works on spray paints, emulsions, bitumen, and indelible markers, and is safe to use on plastics. Spray it on, leave for five minutes, and then wipe away.

    • Our D-Solve graffiti remover is designed for removing graffiti from brick, stone, and concrete (but not plastics, paints, or other solvent-sensitive surfaces). It's water-soluble, so you can simply wash it off.
  • There are several graffiti cleaners designed for removing graffiti from porous surfaces like brick.

A couple of examples include the D-Solve Graffiti Remover for brick and masonry, and the Actisolv Heavy Duty Graffiti Remover Spray for porous surfaces.

  • To remove graffiti from metal, make sure to select a graffiti cleaner that’s suitable for use on metal surfaces.

For example, the HG Graffiti Remover can be used on metal, as well as other smooth surfaces such as glass, acrylic glass, marble, and granite.

  • Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and any relevant regulations.

As a general rule, store graffiti removal chemicals:

    • In a cool, dry, well-ventilated area
    • Away from ignition sources
    • Away from heat and direct sunlight
    • In their original containers with labels intact

It’s usually best to keep them locked away in COSHH or hazardous storage to prevent access by the public or unauthorised people.

A health and safety risk assessment will help you decide the safest way to store these products in your workplace.
