• What are the British standards for flame retardant coveralls?

  There are several British standards for flame retardant overalls.

  • BS EN 13034 – lays out the requirements for clothing that offers protection against liquid chemicals.
  • BS EN 1149 – lays out the requirements for clothing that offers protection from electrostatic discharge.
  • BS EN ISO 11611:2015 – lays out the requirements for clothing that offers protection during welding and similar activities.
  • BS EN 1149-5 – lays out the requirements for clothing that offers protection against electrostatic discharge in hazardous environments.
